Information For Kids

Hi, I'm a primary school teacher at Pahoia School who was awarded a scholarship. This means I was allowed two school terms working at a video production company instead of teaching kids for my job.

I worked for a company called Vision Productions and I learned lots about lighting, sound, filming and editing.  These are all skills I will bring back to my school when I return to classroom teaching in 2012.

Part of the scholarship deal is that I create a resource that can help teachers and kids learn some of the things I have learned.  Hopefully this website will give you lots of ideas to use in your videos and help the end product look as professional as possible.

You can watch the videos online by clicking here (or watch them on my You Tube Channel).   You can download the videos as movie files.   Then you can watch them without needing the internet.

Most of the content on this website focuses on interview and documentary type films as these are probably the most common type of video you will create to show your learning.
